I understand what this means but I don’t totally agree with this statement. Yes you should save some money and the people who says it’s dumb to save money, there is something wrong with them. Things happen in life that we can’t not control. When things happen in life, we need the money to fix that thing so the thought that is not a good idea to save money with not right.
Now I do agree with that inflation east up your money in a saving account, that part is true. Also your money is not making you any money is also true. I think is ok to save money but I would not place all of your money into a saving account and in this post I am not giving you any advice on money or where to place money or what to do with your money.
Why should i save money and not spend it and have fun?
Well I don’t think someone should just blow all of their money to have fun but there is nothing wrong in having fun. I think should be doing both. They should be saving some money and having some money on the side to have fun with. For me, I rather invest first, then save second and then have some money to have fun with be last.
Investing and saving should be the goal and we should from time to time have some fun. I like to think long term on things, and I invest in dividend paying stocks. These types of stocks pays dividends for just holding the stock. I like to have fun but investing is what I like to do and that’s my fun. This is why budgeting your money is very important and spilt it up where you can invest, save and have some money to have fun. Look life is short and there is nothing wrong in having fun but lets make sure that we don’t blow all of our money on having fun
