I think the main goal with affiliate marketing is to make money, lets be honest, we are not prompting products for your health and we do want to help people with the best products to use, we do want some type of commission for promoting that products. In this post let’s talk about what is better than affiliate marketing and how you can make money without affiliate marketing.
What is better than affiliate marketing
So the one thing about affiliate marketing is that your commission is half or 60% depending on what you are promoting. Sites like amazon has lower their affiliate commission so time ago which hurt a lot of people and now they make less money. The thing this is better than affiliate marketing is selling your own products so you can make 100% of your money. This does not have to include products that you can touch, it can be a digital product that you build or an eBook that you can sell. Yes you can build your own physical product if you want to or sell a service that you do. By selling your own thing, you can collect all the profits. Selling your own products is one of the best thing that you can do and to me it’s be than affiliate marketing.
Get your own affiliates to promote your product
One of the easiest ways to make money is having someone else getting traffic for your products. The one thing that holds people back with affiliate marketing is working hard in getting traffic. affiliate markers must build traffic, make YouTube videos or buy traffic in order to make money. That is the hardest thing about affiliate marketing it is work to get traffic. With you having an affiliate program of your own product, you can have an army of people promoting your product for you and to me, that is better than affiliate marketing.
You can run ads instead of doing affiliate marketing
Doing affiliate marketing takes work but running ads does not. Running ads on your YouTube videos is much easier than affiliate marketing. Sure you can have your links below your videos but if people does not click and buy from your links, you will not make any money. With ads, if they watch the video you will still make some money without them buying anything. I place my links below my videos but most of the time I don’t get that many clicks but every time I get someone to watch my video, I do make some money. So sometimes running ads is better than affiliate marketing.
The goal here is to make money and you don’t need to be doing affiliate marketing to make money. You can start your own business on the side for some side income while doing affiliate marketing. You may not know but I am investing into dividend paying stocks that pays me money every month and that is very passive income for me. I also invest into bonds for a high rate of return. I am not giving you any advice on money or how to spend money but there are other ways to make money and to be honest, my dividend paying stocks are more passive than my affiliate marketing business and all I have to do is buy and hold the stock. I don’t need to get traffic or create content or buy ads to get traffic.
So there are a few things that are better than affiliate marketing. Owning your own product and selling it can give you 100% of the money instead of 60% with affiliate marketing. You can get some affiliates to help promote your product or service so it’s more hands off and you don’t have to work to get traffic. I think running ads is easier than affiliate marketing due to that you don’t have to promote anything, you just have to show to ads and it does not matter if they buy or not.
