If you’re a content creator, then you know the importance of keywords. Keywords are what help your content be found by potential viewers or readers. If you’re not using keywords, then you’re missing out on a key opportunity to improve your blog posts and YouTube videos.

Why keywords are important

In SEO, keywords are the words and phrases that searchers enter into search engines to find what they’re looking for. They’re also the foundation of on-page optimization and help Google crawlers understand what your page is about.

Because they play such a vital role in SEO, it’s important to choose the right ones. The best keywords are those that accurately describe your business or website, are relevant to your target audience, and have a high search volume but low competition.

To find the right keywords, you can use keyword research tools like Google Keyword Planner and Ubersuggest. Once you have a list of potential keywords, you can start incorporating them into your website content, titles, meta descriptions, etc.

How to use keywords in blog posts

If you want your blog posts to be found by search engines, you need to use keywords throughout your post. But how do you know which keywords to use? And how can you use them without making your post sound like a jumble of keywords?

Here are some tips for using keywords in your blog posts:

1. Do your research. Find out which keywords are most often used in searches related to your topic. You can use tools like Google AdWords Keyword Planner and Google Trends to help with this.

2. Use the keywords throughout your post. Don’t stuff them in, but make sure they’re included in the title, in the body, and in the meta tags (if you’re using WordPress, Yoast SEO can help with this).

3. Use variations of the keyword.

How to use keywords in YouTube videos

When creating a YouTube video, it is important to use keywords. Keywords are the words and phrases that people use to search for content on the internet. By including keywords in your video, you are more likely to show up in search results and get more views.

Here are some tips for using keywords in your YouTube videos:

1. Do your research – Before you start creating your video, do some research to find out which keywords are being used most often by people who are searching for videos like yours.

2. Use relevant keywords – Once you have a list of keywords, make sure to use them throughout your video. Include them in the title, description, and tags.

3. Don’t stuff keywords – Using too many keywords in your video will not only turn viewers off, but it could also get you penalized by YouTube.

The benefits of using keywords

When it comes to online marketing, the use of keywords is essential in order to drive traffic to your website. By incorporating relevant keywords into your content, you can improve your chances of ranking higher in search engine results pages, which can lead to more website visitors.

In addition to helping you attract more website visitors, using keywords can also help you convert more leads into customers. By including keywords that are relevant to what your target customers are searching for, you can ensure that your content is more likely to be found by those who are interested in what you have to offer.

Overall, using keywords is an important part of any online marketing strategy. By incorporating relevant keywords into your content, you can improve your visibility and attract more potential customers to your website.

Keyword stuff genuinely holds YouTubers back because relevant keywords target while stuffing does nothing. Not using keywords is better than stuffing; some videos of mine ranked well sans keywords but old skool, stuffing keyword guy me never ranked anything 14 years ago when new to blogging.

Take your time, publish helpful videos to appeal to viewers and they will find you if you hit the right keywords for your following, too. I hit the #blogging hashtag almost daily on YouTube.

    Good points my friend.
