Yes it’s time to take an vacation and it’s time to take a break from everything but we have a blog to run while we are gone. There are a few ways where you can run your blog while you are on vacation and I all the things in this post is what I do. Running a blog is not hard but it will take some time while you are vacation so lets go over how to run your blog while on vacation.
Take your laptop with you:
While on vacation, you can take your laptop with you and do some work. When my wife and I went to las Vegas a few years ago, I took my laptop with me just incase I needed to do something online or I needed to check stats. Well I did wake up early one morning and started to write a blog post and did upload some YouTube videos to mu channel. Now I didn’t have to get online for anything but having my laptop there just incase I needed to doe something. You can also write a blog post on your cell phone as well. You can download the WordPress app to your phone and you can write a blog post or check your stats while you are on vacation.
Do your work before you leave
One of the best things about blogging is that you can schedule out your blog post for the future. So you can write a post and use the WordPress scheduler to that post so while you are on vacation, your blog post will go live without you hitting to publish button. This is what I did before we went to Las Vegas. I written out all of my blog post before and then gave them a date to go live while I was on vacation. So I went I got up to go have fun, my blog were going live for me.
This is the best thing you can do for your blog to keep the content going while you are on vacation. I always schedule out my posts when we go out of town or I just want a break from writing content. You can use the WordPress plugin called editorial calendar where you can see the whole months of the year and you can place and move around different post on different days that you want them to go live.
