In the beginning of your blogging journey, when you first start blogging, your topic that you pick should be something that you know a whole lot about. That’s the first thing you will need for your blog. Before starting your blog, have least 30 different topic you want to write about. Those 30 topics leads into different topic that leads into more things to write about. But sometimes after writing a bunch of content, we hit some writers block and can’t figure out what to write about. I have been in that boat all the time and to be honest this post idea came from one of my tools that I use to find topics to write about. So let’s talk about these things.

Use Google:

Google is a good place to start finding out what people are searching for. Type in whatever your topic and see what comes up. Try longer tail keywords and look at the other blogs to see if they are answering the question or giving an answer to the question. Google tends is a good tool as well. Look at the bottom of the page to see the related searches to see what people are looking for. Also use the auto suggest in the search bar of Google. when you type anything into Google, Google will try to finish the sentence for you based on what other people type in. by doing this you will see what other people type into google and give some idea what to write about.

Answer the Public:

Answer the public is a website that free to use that you can put in keywords and answer the public will give a keywords that people ask about. I love this website cause I find questions that I would have never thought about. Just type in whatever your keyword is or your topic and answer the public will give you a list of things that people are looking for. with this site, I have found some topic that I would have never thought about and those topic’s I found had no blog post on them so if I would write a post on that, I would rank much faster and get the 1st spot of traffic. You can click here to check out answer the public, https://answerthepublic.com/ just another tool to use.

Use Quora:

Quora is an online site where people ask questions that they can’t find my Google. This is the best place to find topic to write about and the people asking questions can’t find them on Google, so if you were to write a blog post about that topic, you may be on the 1 spot on Google. there are other people on the site that help answer questions that people have and I also answer questions for people as well.  I use this site all the time and it does move you along your blogging journey. You can check out quora here:  https://www.quora.com/

YouTube:

You should start an YouTube channel for your blog. It’s free traffic for your blog and you can do videos based on your blog posts. Over time with me making videos, people will comment on the video asking questions on these they need help with. I love when people ask questions cause for 1, I can help out the people who is asking the question, 2 it gives me an idea for my next video to shoot, 3 it gives me an idea for the next blog post to write. The key is to be helpful to the people as much as you can and I like helping people.

I wasted a lot of time in the past on things that didn’t do anything for me. I am trying to show people all the things that I did wrong and wasted time on so they won’t make the some mistakes I did and save them time. I didn’t have anyone showing me what to do and how to do it. I wish I knew these things a long time ago but it’s learning for me and helping other people. YouTube is a good place to start.

Use the WordPress time stamp feature:

This is what I love to do, I set a publishing schedule per week of blog post that will go live during the week. I publish a new post every Monday, Wednesday and Friday so that 3 post per week. What I do is I write up 6 blog posts, then time stamp them to go live on those days, with 6 post I have enough content to last 2 weeks. With 2 weeks I now have time to find more content to write, or do anything else that I want.

Right now    https://www.thexking.com/ has enough blog post to last for 2 months which gives me time to work on other things, time to come up with content to write and just a break from blogging. I now have more time for family and work my full time job. I know people who gets up early in the morning and write a blog post and publish it that morning, nothing wrong with that and I wish I can do that but I use the WordPress time stamp to run my blog on autopilot.

Use Iwriter:

Use Iwriter to get content written for your blog. https://www.iwriter.com/ is a site where you can hire writers to write content for you. The prices are not bad at all I most times get premium content, 2000 words for $33 dollars and the prices are more and less.  I use them to write the harder post that I don’t know much about or don’t have the time to write it. This is good cause it’s content that helps your blog, helps you have content that yourself can’t write and the more content you have the more traffic you will get over time. You should invest in your blog in some ways. This is how I come with content for my blog.
