Now this will take more work for you to post content but the first place I would promote your videos is Facebook. Facebook is free and you can post videos for free. The key is to join groups around the type of video that you are making or join groups that are in your niche or subject about your YouTube channel. So there is Facebook and the next way to promote your video is on Quora.
Quora Is a question and answer website where people ask questions that they need help with. I would check out Quora Here https://www.quora.com/ and sign up to help answer questions. What I do is I find a question based off your YouTube video, sometime you cant find a question which is fine but for the most part I can find a question that my videos can answer. So I will write nice long answer to the question and then paste my YouTube video in the answer as well so people can click and watch. With Quora You want to be very helpful to the people who are asking question and it’s your job to get them the best answer to help them.
The next place you can promote your YouTube video is reddit. Go to https://www.reddit.com/ and sign up for a free account and find some sub reddits. Sub reddits are just groups that you can join and see what people are talking about. You post your videos on these sub reddits but make sure that you follow the rules of that sub reddit.
There is also paid traffic to your videos. I would not use paid traffic until I use every social media platform before I buy traffic. There is always a way to get traffic to your videos.
