In this post I have some ways to make more money while spending less money. In fact I am doing this right now as we speak. I have built assets, used cashback apps and I have cut out bills to lower my monthly bill total. I spend money way different these days. Money is easy to get for some people but there are so many factors that can happen to take money from you or you are paying for bills that you don’t even use anymore. I have also do A lot of do it yourself projects around the house so I don’t have to pay someone to do it for me so let’s dive in to the post.
How to spend less money?
What I have done this year is cut out bills that or services that I can do myself. I cancelled the orkin man service which is a pest control service that I was paying $77 every other month. I got the service due to I was getting a lot of these spider crickets in the house and they are hard to kill so that’s why I order them. The service is ok, when I need them to come into the house to spray well they can’t cause O work a 9 to 5 job and they close at 5 so I try to get them to come on Saturday but they always busy and I have a hard time getting them over the weekend. So I got some pesticides called tarstar pro which is the best for coming bugs out of the house. So I got an 1 gallon spray. Mixed with some water and I sprayed my house, the backyard and the front yard.
So I cancelled their service and now I am saving $77 every other month. That’s just one way I saved so money. The next thing I cancelled was leadpages. Leadpages is a software that builds landing pages for my online business. The reason I cancelled that service was cause I am doing a lot of blogging and YouTube right now building up traffic and I was not buying traffic anymore so I didn’t need that software right now. I will get it back when the traffic starts going up cause I do need that software for my business but right now I need to save as much money as I can. The price for leadpages was $37 dollar per month.
The next thing I got rid of was my security system. I had the brinks alarm system and the price was just going up every year. I was paying $25 per month, then $35 per month then it went up to $50 dollars per month but the thing was that I still had the old alarm sensors from 5 years ago so my bill when up but the equipment never changed. So I switched to the ring alarm and you can check them out here. I love the ring alarm right now and works just like the brinks system. My whole house is cover and the price is right too. You can pay $10 bucks per month or pay $100 once a year and I picked the once per year so right now I am saving $50 per month right now and out of a year I am saving $600 bucks per year. My wife and Ihad a guy to cut our lawn on the days I didn’t feel like cutting the lawn or those very hot days. We pay $45 every other week to get our grass cut. To save some money I cut the grass all year this year and saved us some money. I already had a lawnmower I just needed an edge trimmer and weed eater which cost a total of $250 but we saved for the whole summer $350 dollars. Doing it yourself is the way to go to save some money and it looks better when you do the work cause you can do it the way you want to.
