It’s no secret that successful bloggers have a lot of tricks up their sleeves. But one thing they all have in common is a deep understanding of when to post. Does the time of day really matter when it comes to blogging? The answer may surprise you. You may think that most people would read blog post during the day but that may not be the case.
Does the time of day Impact blogging?
Blogging is a great way to share your thoughts and ideas with the world. But does the time of day really matter when it comes to blogging? Some experts say that the best time to blog is first thing in the morning, when you’re fresh and have the most energy. Others say that blogging at night can be more productive because there are fewer distractions. So what’s the best time to blog?
There’s no definitive answer, but it ultimately depends on what works best for you. If you find that you’re most creative in the morning, then go ahead and blog then. But if you prefer to blog at night, there’s nothing wrong with that either.
The important thing is to find a time that works for you and stick with it. I tend to write my blog content at night when everyone is sleep so I have time to myself. Sometimes it’s hard to write at night because I may have had a long day of working and running errands but I with the help of Wordhero I can get my blog content written faster.
The morning: Why this is the best time to blog
If you’re looking to maximize your blogging productivity, the best time of day to blog is in the morning. Here’s why:
1. You’re fresher and more alert first thing in the morning. This means you can write better quality content than if you wait until later in the day when you’re tired.
2. You have more energy in the morning, so you can get through a larger volume of work. This is important if you have a lot of content to produce on a regular basis.
3. Morning is typically when people are most receptive to new information and ideas. So if you want your blog posts to be read and shared, it’s best to publish them in the morning. I try my best to write in the morning but my son tends to want to sleep in during the week and wake up early on the weekend so it’s hard for me but for other people, this may work
The afternoon: When creativity strikes
The afternoon is often when people find themselves the most productive. For some, the morning is spent groggy and sluggish, while the evening hours are winding down and relaxation is on the brain. The afternoon provides the perfect opportunity to get things done.
For bloggers, this can be a great time to sit down and write a few posts. The mind is fresh and alert, making it easier to come up with new ideas and thoughts. Plus, there’s less distractions in the afternoon as most people are busy at work or school.
If you’re having trouble getting started in the morning or feeling burnt out by the end of the day, consider taking some time in the afternoon to blog. You may just find that it’s when creativity strikes!
The evening: When most people are online
It’s no secret that the evening is the most popular time for people to be online. Whether they’re catching up on the day’s news, scrolling through social media, or shopping for last-minute gifts, people are more likely to be online in the evening than at any other time of day. Most people gets off work around 4 or 5 o’clock so this is when most blogs post gets views.
So what does that mean for bloggers? It means that if you want your blog to be seen by as many people as possible, you should be posting in the evening. That’s when people are most likely to be reading blogs and engaging with content.
Of course, every blogger is different, and there’s no hard and fast rule about when you should be posting. But if you want your blog to reach the widest audience possible, the evening is definitely the best time to hit publish.
The night: When you can really focus
For many people, the night is when they can really focus. Without the distractions of work and family, they can finally sit down and get some writing done. But does the time of day really matter when it comes to blogging? Does it make a difference if you write at night or during the day? There are pros and cons to both. Writing at night means you have more peace and quiet, but it can also be harder to stay focused.
Writing during the day means you might have more interruptions, but you’ll also be more likely to get sunlight, which can help boost your mood and energy levels. This is when I write content. The day is gone and everting is done for today so I can sit back and use Wordhero to help me come up with content idea and help you write content. I love this tool and it makes me writing so much easier. If i had to show someone how to set up a blog, I would tell them about Wordhero. If you want to check out Wordhero, you can click here
So which is better? Ultimately, it depends on what works for you. If you find that you can focus better at night, then go for it!
Final Thoughts: What works best for you?
When it comes to blogging, there is no definitive answer as to what time of day works best. It ultimately depends on the blogger and what works for them. Some bloggers find that early mornings are the best time for them to get their thoughts down before the day gets started. Others find that evenings are better for them, when they can wind down and reflect on their day.
There are also those who find that midday works best for them, when they can take a break from their work and write during their lunch hour. And then there are those who like to save their blogging for the weekends, when they have more time to dedicate to it. What best fits you, go with that.
Everyone is different and I follow a blogger called John Chow and his blog is https://johnchow.com/ and in the past he has said that he likes to write all of blog posts and shoot all of his videos on Mondays or just day per week and time stamp them to go live in the future.
His uses WordPress time stamp function, so he writes everything one day and time stamps them during the week so he his one post going live per day which leaves him more free time during the week. I use the feature as well and if you want to learn more about the WordPress schedule feature, you can check it out here: https://wordpress.com/support/schedule-a-post-or-page/
Ultimately, it doesn’t matter what time of day you blog as long as you’re doing it regularly and consistently. The most important thing is that you find a time that works best for you and stick to it.
