I don’t think at this time Odysee will compete with YouTube but more and more people are going to Odysee for videos that YouTube ban from their platform. The reason Odysee is a thing is due to you tube’s censorship to everything these days.
People are getting hit with flags all the time for things that does not need a flag. If you make a video 5 years ago and YouTube today make a new rule, YouTube will flag that video from 5 years ago. YouTube rules are strict, and it’s hard to break though on YouTube. YouTube can delate any video and any channel they see fit, YouTube also leans way one as well. So more and more people will be going to Odysee to get the info that they want without all the censorship of YouTube.
