Are closed ended funds that pay higher dividend a risky investment?

Yes they can be but any stock can be risky. I always say that you all should be doing our own research before buying any stock. Any fund or stock that pays a high dividend should be looked into with research. Some companies can’t handle paying that high dividend payments so the best thing to do is do your own research.
